What a cool little website....no sure if you ever read these chats Senor Isaak....but just wanted to say Muchas Gracias for the "Rocking" drawing penned while awaiting your recent Sydney departure, The Apple Store show "rocked" a rainy friday night in Sydney...we look forward to more shows down under some time soon.... I can't help but wonder, how many people agree with the statement: "Beyond the Sun - the recording many say he was born to make."
This idea is perplexing: many people feel Chris was born to cover songs rather than write his own music? I can certainly appreciate his desire to record the music that he loves so dearly and to pay tribute to his idols. However, I'm glad it came later in his career so that we were first able to experience and adore his original work. As much as I know I will enjoy his upcoming KC concert, afterwards I will look forward to many more years of Chris Isaak originals, the music he was born to make (record).
