Oct. 10-16: Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Chris Isaak, who presented a special poolside screening of Elvis Presley in Girl Happy (1965) at the 2011 TCM Classic Film Festival, and chose an entire night of films as TCM’s Guest Programmer for June, will introduce more classic horror on Oct. 10, including The Wolf Man (1941) and The Uninvited (1944); Nicholas Ray’s envelope-pushing classics Rebel Without a Cause (1955) and Johnny Guitar (1954) on Oct. 11; a Mark Twain celebration on Oct. 13; and a look at Italian neorealist filmmakers on Oct. 15.

At 1st, I was kind of bummed to find that I don't have TCM. Now, I'm a little bummed w/the new website. It looks great but I miss the Community section. After a 7 year wait, I finally got to see Chris live. That show and seeing what people were posting, inspired me to join & write my 1st blog ever. People enjoyed it & encouraged me to write more. I knew that after getting "Beyond the Sun", I'd be inspired to write again. I had no idea when the new site was kicking in so not only will I not be able to blog, but my original blog is gone forever. Actually, my whole profile disappeared & I had to re-register all over again. That's the only downside I see so far....
